minutesCraving a side dish that’s way more exciting than plain steamed broccoli? Look no further! This miso-marinated broccoli recipe unlocks a world of flavor with a simple miso marinade. Forget bland and boring – we’re talking deep, savory umami with a hint of sweetness, all balanced perfectly.
Ingredients
1 small head of broccoli
2 tbs white miso paste
2 tbs soy sauce
1 tbs maple syrup
Directions
- Cut up your broccoli into small florets
- In a medium pan over medium to high heat, add your broccoli and sauté for 8-10 minutes stirring occasionally.
- While the broccoli is sautéing, add the miso, soy sauce and maple syrup to a small bowl and mix until it’s a pretty well combined sauce.
- After the broccoli has sautéed for 10 minutes, add the miso sauce to the broccoli and stir until all pieces are covered.
- Sauté for another 15 minutes or until broccoli is soft.
- Remove from heat and serve with any dish!
Notes
- You can use as much broccoli as you want depending on how many people you are feeding.
- Increase the additional ingredients depending on how much additional broccoli you are cooking.
